Does Orivet offer Clear by Parentage (CBP)?

Yes. Clear by Parentage (CBP) is a cost-effective method that allows breeders to confirm that offspring are free of genetic diseases present in both parents.

Requirements for CBP:

  • The dam, sire, and offspring must be DNA profiled by Orivet.
  • The dam and sire must have been screened for genetic diseases through Orivet.

Once parentage is confirmed, diseases for which both parents test negative will be reported as "Clear by Parentage" in the offspring's results.
